Ron Dennis talks about McLaren MP4-12C issues

A few days ago it has been rumored that the new McLaren MP4-12C supercar is facing some safety issues. Now, Ron Dennis - the executive chairman of McLaren Automotive and McLaren Group broke the silence and talks about the supercar’s problems.

In a letter addressed to one of the McLaren customers he explains that the supercar is having software problems that can lead to unnecessarily sensitive warning lights, battery drainage in certain conditions and IRIS performance issues. But he did confirmed that the company is working on a solution for this problem and that, at some point all the customers will be asked to bring their MP4-12C to the nearest dealer to have the software upgraded.

In the meantime, Denis has sent a copy of "McLaren: The Wins’ book to every customers. That of course to have something to do until your car will be fixed.
