1968 Camaro Z/28 Rebuild

I thought I would try something different from the "norm" of building new kits and take on this rebuild of a rather scarce subject. I checked out ebay and some other sources for a new kit but finding this kit is harder than finding a gold bar lying in the middle of the street! I built this kit at least twenty years ago or so and rebuilding this kit to better standards will require all of my building experience and then some. I have some MCW "LeMans Blue" left over from my '69 Nova build. I'm thinking "LeMans Blue" with white stripes. The old white stripes have been removed. The interior is in good shape so there won't be much to do there. I will have to fabricate some parts to replace missing and broken parts. I am waiting to hear back from Keith Marks on a price for a set of '68 Z/28 white stripes. In the meantime I have completely sanded the body and filled in some dipples along the rear quarter panels with a little putty. Engine has been painted in the correct "Chevrolet Engine Red". Here is my progress so far which isn't much! Stay tuned for more action.
