1937 Ford Sign Service Truck

 

I want to change from racing cars and muscle cars for once. Since I'm a sign artist, I had many time in my life, to install exterior signs

So here is my project, I am using a 1937 Ford Pickup truck to convert to a sign service truck with an extension ladder.

I made the flatbed with the ladder base from styrene sheets and Iused a ladder from Plastruct. That was an exciting and fun task...

Here it is.

The extension ladder, the top ladder was narrowed to fit inside the bottom one.

With all that weight it needed double rear wheels

I shortened the differential

And lenghtened the frame
