BMW 650i Gran Coupe Art Car

German automaker BMW has never been one to turn down a dealership looking to add some color to one of its vehicles. It’s the tried-and-tested "art car" treatment that BMW has come to be known for.

Yeah, we remember Jeff Koons’ work on the M3 GTS. That car even competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, although it didn’t have the kind of finish it was hoping for. Now another BMW art car has come out of the woodwork, except this time, it comes by way of the Umm Al Nar dealership in Abu Dhabi.

Unlike Koons’ M3 GTS, this 650i Gran Coupe Art Car is being shown only as part of the "Road is your Easel" art event, which will run until December 6.

As expected with an art car, the 650i Gran Coupe features a cacophony of colors that starts off with a purple and blue treatment on the front end before an abstract string of designs and colors take over and extend all the way to the rear. There aren’t any performance mods performed on this 650i Gran Coupe Art Car, which means that you can expect to see the same 4.4-liter V-8 engine that produces 445 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque that the standard model comes with.
