Unfortunately Ryan Happe aka 1ofaknd owner of Scale lows passed away on Saturday 27th of august at 27 years of age.
Ryan had brain cancer and the problems it caused him both physically and mentally eventually made him decide to end his life.
I knew Ryan from the internet and even though we never met in person I called him my friend talking about modelcars, sharing ideas and life in general. He was an excellent model car builder and a great guy who you could trust and depend on.
Me living in The Netherlands and him in Indiana USA working with him on the groundbraking lowrider model car Real Deal '64 was a treat. We shipped stuff back and forth ending up with an amazing piece of work we were both very proud of showing it at model cars shows on both sides of the ocean.
Ryan was owner of Scale lows.com selling model car parts around the globe and he was planning a comeback starting to do business again and creating new model cars. Unfortunately it didn't happen.
Rest in Peace my friend, You will be greatly missed.
