It was expected that once Volvo dropped the new-generation V40 onto the market, all the other models in the lineup would follow suit. The first model sent back to the design board was the S60, but only for a minor facelift.
As you can see from the spy shots that our photographers have snapped, only the front and the rear have been camouflaged, meaning these parts will receive the biggest updates. Under that camouflage, we expect a front that looks a lot like the V40, including a redesigned hood, new front bumper and new headlamps. On the backside we don’t anything new, but that might change between now and the car’s official debut.
For the interior, the dash also reveals a set of V40-like dials, but these are the only updates we have seen up to this point.
Under the hood, we expect no updates, so the revised S60 will likely carry the same engine lineup, including both petrol and diesel powertrains.
